Little Lives Project: New Professional Guidelines<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Little Lives <\/em>is a new International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC)-funded project dedicated to improving the identification, investigation, and interpretation of fetal and infant remains in both archaeological and forensic contexts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bringing together expertise from across the fields of bioarchaeology, forensic anthropology, and human osteology, the project aims to develop evidence-based guidelines and best practice recommendations for the recovery, analysis, and reporting of these often underrepresented remains. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

By establishing consistent standards, Little Lives<\/em> seeks to enhance research quality, support humanitarian and forensic investigations, and deepen our understanding of the lives and deaths of the youngest members of past and present populations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
